By accessing and using the Dancing Hammock Pilates + Movement Center website (dancinghammock.com) and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Description of Services

Dancing Hammock Pilates + Movement Center provides Pilates instruction, group equipment classes, private sessions, events, and workshops at our studio located at 162 Bluffton Road, Suite 102-103, Bluffton, SC 29910. Our website provides information about our services, class schedules, online booking, and pricing.

3. Booking and Cancellation Policy

Please book classes a minimum of 4 hours in advance. Class sizes are limited to maintain quality instruction. Cancellation policies apply as follows:

  • Group classes must be canceled at least 4 hours before the scheduled start time to avoid a late cancellation fee.
  • Private sessions require 24 hours notice for cancellation.
  • No-shows may result in forfeiture of the session from your package.

Dancing Hammock reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to instructor availability, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. Affected clients will be notified and offered alternative options.

4. Health and Safety

Participation in Pilates and movement classes involves physical activity. By booking and attending sessions, you acknowledge that:

  • You are in adequate physical condition to participate in the activities offered.
  • You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or limitations to your instructor prior to participation.
  • New clients must complete at least one private session before joining group equipment classes (except "Welcome to DHP!" intro classes).
  • You assume all risks associated with participation in physical activities at our studio.

5. Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dancing Hammock Movement Center, LLC, its owners, instructors, and staff shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in our classes, workshops, or use of our facilities. All clients are required to sign a liability waiver before their first session.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design elements, is the property of Dancing Hammock Movement Center, LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

Our website integrates with WellnessLiving for class scheduling, booking, and payment processing. Your use of these services is also subject to WellnessLiving's terms of service and privacy policy. Dancing Hammock is not responsible for third-party service interruptions or data handling practices.

8. User Conduct

When using our website and services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information when booking classes or creating accounts.
  • Not engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our website or services.
  • Respect other clients and staff at all times while at the studio.
  • Follow studio policies including wearing sticky socks during equipment classes.

9. Pricing and Payments

All prices listed on our website are in US dollars and are subject to change without prior notice. Packages and memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Promotional offers are subject to their own terms and conditions.

10. Modifications to Terms

Dancing Hammock reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website and services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Beaufort County, South Carolina.
